Alex Shapiro and our Santa Fe SCORE Chapter have generously shared the following fundraising resource. Thank you!

Fundraising Seminar Introduction to Fundraising Basics

Santa Fe Score and Alex Shapiro  have generously made their recent seminar available, broken down in 8 brief videos linked below. The seminar provided an overview of fundraising fundamentals to give participants an insight into which fundraising techniques should be part of their overall strategy. Designed for small non-profits, the seminar covered grant writing, special events and major giving. It explored the advantages and disadvantages of these techniques to help attendees begin choosing the methods best suited for their individual needs.

Alex Shapiro is currently the Director of Institutional Advancement for the Institute of American Arts. His non-profit management leadership for more than 30 years includes Director of Development and Marketing at Las Cumbres Community Services, Executive Director of Santa Fe Pro Musica and Development Director of the AIDS Foundation of Chicago.

We look forward to seeing you at the Philanthropy HUB.
