Volunteering: It's easy to care for Santa Fe

Santa Fe has more volunteers per capita than any city in the United States. Whether people have lived here a lifetime or have chosen Santa Fe more recently as their home, they want to demonstrate their care for our community's quality of life. Thousands of Santa Feans volunteer in soup kitchens, as tutors, as museum docents, as animal caregivers and river stewards.

The Santa Fe Community Foundation, which is the leader in strengthening nonprofits in Northern New Mexico, has compiled this information as a resource for all our residents. This guide was published by The Santa Fe New Mexican, with underwriting provided by Wells Fargo Bank.
