Mission: To create and foster a spirit of understanding among all people for humanitarian
needs by providing voluntary services through community involvement and international
cooperation.
Major Projects/Programs:
Community eye screenings, free eye exams and glasses to the needy, fund raisers at the County Rodeo and County Fair, flag raising and lowering on national holidays for Santa Fe businesses.
Volunteer Needs: Assist active Lions at eye screenings at non-profit clinic, including pueblo health centers; Greet the dawn and see the sunsets on national holidays by helping to raise and lower flags throughout Santa Fe. Help sell programs at the Rodeo; cotton candy and other treats at the County Fair. Orientation provided; no mandatory weekly assistance needed.
