To support access to the arts, including hands-on projects, for its residents, a 12-member therapeutic community for adults with mental illness who have experienced homelessness.

Cornerstones Community Partnership - $15,500:

To support Summer 2016 Internship Program which teaches New Mexico youth, the majority of whom are economically disadvantaged, the hands-on knowledge of traditional building skills needed to preserve historic buildings. Includes:

Creative Santa Fe - $2,000:

To support development of the Santa Fe Arts + Creativity Center, a 60-70 unit affordable housing and economic development hub designed to retain, train, and cultivate creative economy workers.

Creativity for Peace - $14,000:

To support training of youth leaders using art and dialogue, specifically Voices program - an original production blending experiences of young people from Israel, Palestine, and New Mexico, exploring issues of violence, conflict, identity and belonging.

Española Valley Fiber Arts Center - $12,000:

To support a youth education program, Fiber of Our Lives, comprised of an educational video (An Unbroken Thread) which highlights history, wool and weaving in northern New Mexico, a Traveling Fiber Trunk with hand-on onsite wool-to-blanket activities, Fiber Survival afterschool programs, and Weaving Our Stories, a project gathering local oral history. Includes:

Golden Acorns Summer Camp, Inc. - $1,000:

To support After-School Program which will provide disadvantaged students aged 5-12 an innovative multi-cultural arts curriculum that focuses on character-building and conflict resolution.

Harwood Art Museum – Regents of the University of New Mexico - $1,500:

To support the Mabel Dodge Luhan & Company: American Moderns and The West” traveling exhibition.

To support Community Outreach Program which provides a unique opportunity for under-served children and youth in northern New Mexico to interact with folk artists from across the globe and learn about their cultures and traditions.

Nat Gold Players - $1,000:

To support the Theatre New Mexico state-wide conference which will be hosted in 2016 by Nat Gold Players in Las Vegas, NM. Nat Gold Players provides performing arts in a rural area where opportunities are otherwise highly limited.

National New Deal Preservation Association – New Mexico Chapter - $500:

To support a current professional art survey of the eight New Deal murals in Highlands University Administrative Building and three New Deal paintings.

To support creation of an outreach program to expose underserved middle- and high-school students to the richness of choral music through free concerts and workshops with regional performers.

To support NMSA’s mastery arts training in Dance, Theater, Music, and Visual Arts.

Northern Youth Project - $5,000:

To support development of program areas connecting rural youth with the arts; specifically For the Love of Land program which connects rural youth with art, activism, and heritage.

Ohkay Owingeh Housing Authority - $6,000:

To support mud plaster training provided through the Owe’neh Bupingeh Rehab project which has rehabbed 34 homes in the Pueblo core of Ohkay Owingeh. $5,000 from Anonymous Memorial Fund

Sangre de Cristo Chorale of New Mexico - $500:

To support apprentice and outreach programs; in 2015-2016, two concerts in the fall and two concerts in the spring will be performed in Santa Fe and Los Alamos.

Santa Fe Children’s Museum - $7,000:

To support repurposing a portion of outdoor Earthworks Garden to create a community integrated urban farm which would function as an interactive learning space for affordable summer camps and volunteer programming, as well as a CSA program and farm stand during the summer.

Santa Fe Community Orchestra - $1,450:

To support five free concerts of classics, unfamiliar works, and premiers by New Mexico composers, education programs for public school music students as well as general audiences, and performance partnerships with NDI, NMSA, etc.

Santa Fe High School Theater Department Coalition - $5,000:

To support purchase of scripts, props, and costumes. Through its work with students in front of, and behind the curtain, the theater department helps students develop confidence and motivates them to stay in school.

Santa Fe Little Theatre dba Santa Fe Playhouse - $500:

To support its 2016 season of theatre productions, workshops, and community engagement.

Santa Fe Opera - $5,600:

To support 14 education and community engagement programs which serve 50,000+ New Mexicans annually at little to no cost, including a pre-school program, in-school elementary and middle school programs, mastery programs for young singers and theater technicians, Community Concerts, annual Spring Tour, Pueblo Opera Program, and Dress Rehearsal Nights for Youth.

Santa Fe Performing Arts Company & School - $10,000:

To support performing arts education resource for the community, collaboration with other organizations, and maintenance of a professional resident company and venue.

To support symphonic and choral performances at The Lensic, free performances in the community, music education and mentoring programs for underserved and at-risk youth in the Santa Fe area, and outreach programs in retirement homes.

To support youth and young adults in innovative experiences and alternative arts education by providing compensation and mentorships through music, dance, theater, radio broadcasting, recordings, technology, and art making.

Santa Fe Time Bank – Children’s Art Space - $2,500:

Santa Fe Woodturners aka The Enchanted Woodturners - $3,000:

To support training programs and provide materials and tools for woodturning, and mentoring at-risk students at Santa Fe High.

To support repairs and safety upgrades of heavily trafficked flagstone walkways.

Wise Fool New Mexico - $400:

To support Youth Movement Initiative which is changing lives of 2,000 youth through hands-on circus arts classes and inspiring 7,000 youth through live performances.
