Animal Protection of New Mexico, Inc. - $4,500: To support statewide Animal Cruelty Hotline (877-5-HUMANE), provide safe haven for animals of domestic violence victims, teach New Mexico students kindness and responsibility for animals, end coyote-killing contests and wildlife trapping on public lands, and more. Espanola Valley Humane Society - $25,450: To support work in Espanola, Rio Arriba County, and three local pueblos which includes free services such as spay/neuter surgeries and vaccinations. [$10,000 from Anonymous Memorial Fund, $10,000 from Celia Lipton Farris & Victor W. Farris Foundation Fund, $2,500 from Shelly Koffler Humane Fund, $1,000 from Sanford & Jane Brickner Advised Fund, $700 from Helen R. Homans Advised Fund, $500 from O.N. Northern New Mexico Street Homeless Animal Project - $2,750: To help assist companion pets of people who are homeless on the streets of Santa Fe, including emergency veterinary care, food, supplies, preventive care, spay/neuter services and advocate for their welfare. [$2,000 from Sherpa Fund, $500 from Kia Ora Fund, and $250 from Wallen-Eloisa Family Fund]

Santa Fe Animal Shelter & Humane Society - $8,000: To support free spay/neuter surgeries and vaccines for pets of disadvantaged families. [$5,000 from Sherpa Fund, $1,000 from Beloff & Geller Family Fund, $1,000 from Dr. & Mrs. Cameron Haight Fund, $500 from Kia Ora Fund, and $500 from Wallen-Eloisa Family Fund]

Sky Mountain Wild Horse Sanctuary - $7,500: To support freedom for wild horses in sanctuary and those on public lands who are at risk for round up and removal to slaughter; and keeping more wild horses free by reducing reproduction using immune-contraceptives. [$5,000 from Liberty Ranch Infinite Possibilities Fund, $2,000 from Sherpa Fund, and $500 from Susan & Conrad DeJong Fund]
