Awesome Foundation Santa Fe

The Santa Fe Chapter of the Awesome Foundation is accepting applications for a $1,000 micro-grant that will be awarded to invest in a local project that aims to make Santa Fe a better place to live, work and play. Applications are due February 2, 2018, with the grant to be awarded in March.

The chapter funds local projects in science, technology, art, education, entertainment, or social good. Projects should demonstrate a clear community benefit with immediate impact by helping others or creating a better environment for them.

At this time, the foundation is only considering projects that can be fully funded with the $1,000 grant. Applications can be submitted online at the chapter's website:  http://www.awesomefoundation.org/en/chapters/santafe.

HEP Request for Proposals for Boys and Men of Color Capacity Building Resource Pool

As a recipient of the 2017 RISE for Boys and Men of Color Capacity Building Award, HEP is excited to announce that in 2018 we will distribute a “capacity building resource” pool up to $40,000 to grassroots organizations in Albuquerque and in surrounding indigenous communities between March 1, 2018 and October 31, 2018. RISE for Boys and Men of Color is a field advancement effort that aims to better understand and strategically improve the lives, experiences and outcomes of boys and men of color in the United States.

Five to eight small grants will be awarded between the amounts of $4,000 - $7,500.

Applications will be accepted until February 16, 2018 at 11:59 pm. Submit your application by email to Jessi Jensen (jjensen@nmhep.org).  We encourage applicants to contact us about their proposed capacity building ideas prior to applying so we can provide guidance and feedback.
