Scholarship Application:
2020 Santa Fe Fundraising Immersion

The Santa Fe Community Foundation is pleased to support this program with a limited number of partial scholarships. 
Requests for 2020 scholarship support closed on February 28, 2020. 
Scholarship applicants will be notified of their request status by March 6, 2020.

Rates: $445 through March 13; $495 following. Fees include all three course days and materials.

The Santa Fe Fundraising Immersion is co-presented by Jennifer Kilbourn and Patti Ward, CFRE. It will take place over zoom over a four week period, twice a week (Weds & Thurs) for 90 minutes each session, 9:00am-10:30am:

  • Sept 2 & 3, 2020 the first Wednesday session will be 9:00-11:00 to review logistics and online tools
  • Sept 9 & 10, 2020
  • Sept 16 & 17, 2020
  • Sept 23 & 24, 2020.


    Each participant will be mailed the presentations and a workbook prior to September 2. "Learning buddies" / pairs of attendees will be assigned to work together on assignments between session weeks.

The full fee for this three-day intensive is $495. The Santa Fe Community Foundation is supporting the program with a limited number of partial scholarships. We will strive to spread these funds as broadly as we can. Support will be available as follows:

    • Tier 1, Organizations with an annual budget under $150,000: Attendee pays $170 (scholarship of $325)

    • Tier 2, Organizations with an annual budget of $150,000-500,000 Attendee pays $225 (scholarship of $270)

    • Tier 3, Organizations with an annual budget over $500,000: Attendee pays $370 (scholarship of $125)

Scholarships will be prioritized for:

    • Organizations outside of Santa Fe county;
    • Staff who identify as being of color;
    • Staff who have not had formal fundraising training;
    • Organizations with small development staff (relative to organization size).
