2021 Santa Fe Fundraising Immersion
Registration begins July 1, 2021 - Limited to 25 participants

We are very pleased to again be hosting Patti Ward, CFRE and Jennifer Kilbourn to co-facilitate the Fundraising Immersion – The Basics course in September 2021.

The Immersion is a deep dive into fundraising best practices and basic tools needed to create and maintain a thriving culture of philanthropy in your organization. Content will address:

  • establishing your Development Office;
  • understanding the roles of board and staff
  • creating a compelling and comprehensive Case for Support;
  • tackling your Development Plan;
  • various methods of fund development (annual gifts, special events, foundation, corporate and government support;
  • individual giving and making the ask.

The Santa Fe Fundraising Immersion is co-presented by Jennifer Kilbourn and Patti Ward, CFRE. It will take place over zoom over a four week period, every Wednesday from 9am until noon. :

  • Sept 1, 2021 
  • Sept 8, 2021
  • Sept 15, 2021
  • Sept 22, 2021.


    Each participant will be mailed the presentations and a workbook prior to September 1. "Learning buddies" / pairs of attendees will be assigned to work together on assignments between session weeks.

The full fee for this three-day intensive is $495. The Santa Fe Community Foundation is supporting the program with partial scholarships.

Early Bird Registration is as follows (After August 13, early bird prices will end and costs will increase by $50) :

    • Tier 1, Organizations with an annual budget under $150,000: Attendee pays $170 (scholarship of $325)

    • Tier 2, Organizations with an annual budget of $150,000-500,000 Attendee pays $225 (scholarship of $270)

    • Tier 3, Organizations with an annual budget over $500,000: Attendee pays $370 (scholarship of $125)
