Festival of Learning 2019
Santa Fe Mentoring and Tutoring Collaborative

Sunday, May 5, 2019 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Education comes in many forms, often outside the classroom. On May 5, 2019 the Santa Fe Mentoring and Tutoring Collaborative (SFMTC) will host their second annual Festival of Learning. The festival offers an opportunity for students to showcase projects they’ve worked on or skills they’ve learned during their year of mentorship. It is also an opportunity for organizations to reach out to prospective volunteers and show the impact mentors and tutors have on young people. If your program serves youth in our community through tutoring, mentorship, or other out-of-school-time programs, we invite you to join!

Here are 3 ways your organization can participate in this celebration:

  1. Host one or more display tables!  This is your chance to generate excitement among young people by offering engaging activities, and a way to ignite a spark of interest in prospective mentors and tutors. Just tell us how many 6-foot tables you’ll need and pay the reservation fee by April 19; and
  2. Register a youth performance! If the youth served by your organization could perform on a stage – whether it be music, dance, or reading – let us know! Nothing inspires passion in others like a live performance; and
  3. Volunteer to help during the festival!Throughout the afternoon of May 5, we will need many volunteers to help with a variety of tasks – including hosting an information booth. If your organization can spare you for an hour or more, please let us know.
  4. Please provide contact information:  Organization, name, phone, and email.
