Brooke Hunter, Facilitator

Tuesday, March 24, 2020 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Participants should leave this session with a better understanding of how to work in coordination with others. This session will explore various work and learning styles, in hopes of illuminating team dynamics. We will explore some new technologies that have been created to help people work together better. The workshop will focus on the following areas:

  • Establishing shared values
    • What are your stated values?
    • Do your values apply to the people you help, or do they also apply to the people you work with?
    • Does everyone on the team share these values?
    • What accountability mechanisms are in place around values?

  • Understanding work and learning styles to help coordinate teams
    • Understanding ourselves first
    • Understanding others
    • Writing better emails
    • Being aware of communication times and types

  • The importance of checking-in; a guide to better management conversations
    • Questions to ask to build a better workplace
    • Shining light on the un-said
