2022 Fund for Pursuing Federal Funding Opportunities Update
Fund for Pursuing Federal Funding Opportunities
In late 2021, Anchorum St. Vincent, the Thornburg Foundation, and the Santa Fe Community Foundation joined together to support New Mexico nonprofits and other grant-eligible entities, including local government or tribal entities, in pursuing federal grants.
Through July 2022, the Fund has provided $275,000 in grants to 20 New Mexico groups addressing:
- Behavioral health
- Educational attainment and career pathways
- Food and agriculture
- Housing and homelessness
- Senior health
- Water resource management
Collectively, these grantees are pursuing over $200 million in additional funding dollars to benefit New Mexico. We thank these organizations for the work they do and congratulate them for grants through this Fund.
