ABOUT the learning HUB
Your community learning center
Our Learning Hub is an educational space for nonprofit board, executive directors, staff members, and donors. Each year, the Hub offers dozens of events, workshops, and learning circles that promote leadership, skill building, and peer-supported growth. The opportunities we offer are uniquely structured to elevate the needs and opportunities of organizations in northern New Mexico, including smaller and rural nonprofits, and to honor the diversity in our state. Join us as we learn, together.
Board Member Workshop Series
SFCF and SCORE offer this monthly series for board members, designed to help your board service be more effective, enjoyable, and an opportunity for learning.
Executive Director Learning Circle
Since 2015, this program has provided space for learning and peer dialogue among nonprofit executive directors.
Fundraising Immersion
This program is an intensive deep dive into fundraising best practices and the basic tools needed to create and maintain a thriving culture of philanthropy in your organization. Register by March 1 for this multi-session training with Jennifer Kilbourn and Patti Ward.
Hub Leadership Development Institute
The Hub Leadership Development Institute cultivates a diverse group of mid-career executives working in nonprofit organizations. The cohort will build relationships, knowledge, and new practices that support their ability to advance equity and strengthen their professional skills.
Learning Lab Series
Through peer connection, community dialogue, and professional development, our Learning Lab Series is designed to support nonprofit staff in all facets of their work and personal growth.
Learning Together
Learning Together is a pilot educational series for all Foundation donors, including those who are fundholders, have named the Foundation as a partner in their legacy planning, and/or are actively engaged in one of the Foundation’s many giving opportunities.
New Mexico Women of Color Nonprofit Leadership Initiative
In 2023, the New Mexico Women of Color Nonprofit Leadership Initiative will work throughout the year to support our largest alumna community to date, as it forms one cohesive community, comprised of more than 50 women of color leaders.
