The Santa Fe Community Foundation is delighted to announce the honorees of our 2025 Piñon Awards: Amigos Bravos Inc, Free Flow NM, The Friendship Club, and Sunrise Clinics. The awards, presented annually by the Foundation since 1987, are a prestigious recognition of excellence within northern New Mexico’s nonprofit sector.

First Serve New Mexico’s after school program and summer camp foster incredible growth in students, both academically and personally. Our combination of tutoring, life skills coaching, and tennis instruction creates a supportive environment where students thrive over time.

Communities In Schools of New Mexico is dedicated to surrounding students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. By placing site coordinators directly on school campuses, CISNM provides critical services to students facing significant barriers to academic success and empowers them to stay in school and achieve in life.

Recently, Dollars4Schools has been honored to support two programs that promote student success, health, and well-being: the Santa Fe Public Schools'Safe Routes to School program and Guardian Caps.

The Santa Fe Alliance for Science (SFAFS) is an all-volunteer organization that has served the students of Santa Fe for over seventeen years. Its mission is to “Bring out the Inner Scientist in Every Student".

NMPED, LANL Foundation, LESC, and WestEd are inviting the public to participate in 12 regional community meetings across the state in August to help shape the Martinez/Yazzie Action Plan.
