Marketing & Communications Associate


Position summary

This position supports the Santa Fe Community Foundation’s Marketing & Communications department by managing administrative tasks and assisting in the planning and execution of marketing and advertising initiatives. We are seeking someone with strong written communication skills to support the Foundation’s mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily administrative tasks to ensure Marketing Department runs smoothly
  • Assist in the scheduling, creation, and metric-tracking of social media posts, email campaigns, and website updates
  • Write and copyedit content for presentations, newsletters, advertisements, brochures, press releases, website and social media posts, and other marketing materials as needed
  • Assist the Director in ensuring all marketing materials are brand-aligned with uniformity in content/messaging and design; aid SFCF internal teams in their brand understanding and compliance
  • Support the Director in establishing and evaluating ongoing marketing strategies, production schedules, and plans
  • Pull, edit, and maintain constituent lists for use in marketing campaigns
  • Assist with cross-departmental projects as needed, including events coordination
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Good organizational, time management, and project management skills
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to take initiative and prioritize duties
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of social media and digital marketing principals and strategies
  • Previous experience with website content management systems and email marketing
  • Audio/video editing and/or graphic design skills with experience in Adobe Creative Suite programs a plus
