45th Annual Danny Maas Run
Monday, April 28th
At El Rancho de las Golondrinas
The Danny Maas Run is an annual fundraising event where Santa Fe Prep middle school students work to raise money to help support a family with a child battling cancer. Students raise money by securing pledges from family, friends, and community members. For every lap or mile they run, the pledged donations turn their efforts into real financial support for a family in need.
The more the students run, the more money they raise! Each runner collects pledges before the event, with supporters committing to donate a specific amount per lap or mile completed. During the run, students push themselves to do their best, knowing that every step they take brings hope and relief to a child and their family. All funds raised will go directly to a family whose child is courageously fighting cancer. This tangible act of kindness not only eases the financial burden of medical bills and treatments but also shows these families that they are not alone in their journey.

The Danny Maas Run Fund is a component fund of the Santa Fe Community Foundation. Donate to the fund here.

SNAP benefits loss: what you can do
460,000 New Mexicans are facing an urgent challenge. With the recent suspension of SNAP benefits and federal government shutdown, 21% of state households are suddenly without one of the most basic forms of support: food assistance. Nonprofits, community partners, and food pantries are working swiftly to provide resources to fill in the gap as best they can.
