In response to the devastating July 2025 flooding in Ruidoso, the Community Foundation of Southern New Mexico has reactivated the emergency response efforts through the Greatest Needs Impact Fund for Lincoln & Otero Counties to provide critical and immediate support to those affected by the most recent floods. Texas
Community foundations in Texas are rallying to support ongoing recovery efforts in the wake of devastating flash floods on July 4. Donors who want to help those impacted by this deadly tragedy are encouraged to contribute to the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country’s Kerr County Flood Relief Fund, which will direct funds to vetted organizations providing relief and recovery efforts as well as flood assistance, and the San Angelo Area Foundation’s San Angelo Disaster Relief Fund, which will provide financial support to flood victims in San Angelo and surrounding areas.
Call to action: Protect the Greater Chaco region
The Greater Chaco region is an irreplaceable cultural and ancestral place with deep significance for many Tribal Nations.
