Supporting community-led response efforts in Minneapolis
Standing with Minneapolis
Community foundations across the country have a shared commitment: to stand with their communities when challenges arise, guided by trust, care, and collective generosity.
In response to the ICE surge in Minneapolis, our sister community foundation, the Minneapolis Foundation, has announced emergency support through its OneMPLS Fund. Collective giving through this fund supports area nonprofits meeting immediate community needs such as food, housing support, and emergency assistance to families and individuals navigating sudden disruption and uncertainty.
Collective giving can help communities respond with compassion and resilience when it is needed most. We encourage those who are interested in supporting this effort to learn more about and donate to the OneMPLS Fund today.

SNAP benefits loss: what you can do
460,000 New Mexicans are facing an urgent challenge. With the recent suspension of SNAP benefits and federal government shutdown, 21% of state households are suddenly without one of the most basic forms of support: food assistance. Nonprofits, community partners, and food pantries are working swiftly to provide resources to fill in the gap as best they can.
New Mexico Local News Fund 2026 Summit: Call for Presenters
