Community Bulletin
River Source
River Source supports people advancing watershed stewardship to create significant community engagement and long-lasting impacts for intergenerational learning and ecological restoration. We provide science and policy education and the building of watershed and climate resilience in New Mexico. Our goal is to be weavers, bringing together elders, youth, and land managers to spark action for caring for our water, forests, and land and leveraging the full potential of people working together.
Responding to a Growing Housing Crisis
Housing instability continues to grow across northern New Mexico, driven in part by a shortage of available homes. Since 2022, the Community Housing & Homelessness Prevention Fund has invested $903,000 to address urgent shelter needs, expand transitional and permanent supportive housing, and advocate for policy change yielding more affordable housing across New Mexico.
Donor Spotlight: David Skinner
Our donors and fund advisors are essential partners in building strong, vibrant communities. Through their generosity and insight, they help shape a more equitable and thriving northern New Mexico. We spoke with fund advisor David Skinner about his philanthropic journey, the causes he cares about, and the role community plays in giving.
