The Memory Care Alliance is pushing to remove social stigmas around Alzheimer’s, and related dementias, create a society where families and their loved ones can access comprehensive information, education and services in a safe and supportive way on their quest to live meaningful and dignified lives.
This month on Community Matters, we speak to David Davis, the Founder and Executive Director of The Memory Care Alliance. This New Mexico-based nonprofit provides ongoing education and support to families impacted by Alzheimer’s and dementia, replacing social stigmas with compassionate understanding, and a vision for life after diagnosis. The Memory Care Alliance is the recipient of 2024's Courageous Innovation Piñon Award.
