NextGen, the Santa Fe Community Foundation's group of young philanthropists, capped off its fifth grantmaking cycle by awarding $10,000 in support of education.
NextGen is a hands-on experience in philanthropy for rising leaders who care about local issues and want to make a bigger impact. Each year, members of the group work together to pool their giving toward an issue they vote on, view proposals, and award grants to local nonprofits.

Empower! Black Futures Community Fund announces inaugural grants
As part of Juneteenth 2025, the Empower! Black Futures Community Fund of the Santa Fe Community Foundation is proud to announce its inaugural round of grantmaking. The grants, which total $37,500, support six organizations uplifting Black life, arts, and culture in New Mexico.
