2021 Grants Cycle
NextGen, the Santa Fe Community Foundation's group of young philanthropists, capped off its fourth grantmaking cycle by awarding $20,000 in grants to two local organizations that are working to advance education.
NextGen is a hands-on experience in philanthropy for rising leaders who care about local issues and want to make a bigger impact. Each year, members of the group work together to pool their giving toward an issue they vote on, view proposals, and award grants to local nonprofits.

Announcing 40th Annual Piñon Awards Honorees
The Santa Fe Community Foundation is delighted to announce the recipients of its 40th Annual Piñon Awards: Española Humane, Human Rights Alliance, New Mexico Center on Law and Poverty, and Resolve. Northern New Mexico Foundations Join Together to Support Communities Impacted by Frijoles Fire
As the Frijoles Fire impacts communities in Northern New Mexico, the LANL Foundation and Thornburg Foundation are each contributing $10,000 to the Frijoles Fire 2026 Fund, a philanthropic fund established by the Santa Fe Community Foundation to help address the immediate and emerging needs of individuals and families affected by the fire.
