Announcing 2025 Piñon Awards Recipients
The Santa Fe Community Foundation is delighted to announce the honorees of our 2025 Piñon Awards: Amigos Bravos Inc, Free Flow NM, The Friendship Club, and Sunrise Clinics. The awards, presented annually by the Foundation since 1987, are a prestigious recognition of excellence within northern New Mexico’s nonprofit sector.

Northern New Mexico Youth Fund Launches Grant Opportunity
Nonprofit organizations, Tribal entities, and middle and high schools that help young people thrive are invited to join Q&A sessions about this new opportunity. The Northern New Mexico Youth Fund was created by the Northern New Mexico Pathways to Opportunity Strategy Table, of which the Santa Fe Community Foundation is a member, to expand opportunities for young people to thrive in school, work, and life. The Fund supports innovative Career Technical Education (CTE) and Work-Based Learning (WBL) programs for young people ages 13 to 29. In addition to funding direct services, the Youth Fund will give a grant to an organization to serve as a regional resource hub to support grantees with implementation, evaluation, shared learning, and securing sustainable funding.

At the Santa Fe Community Foundation, we believe that when young people thrive, our entire community benefits. Across northern New Mexico, dedicated nonprofits are working tirelessly to ensure that children and teens have access to the healthcare, mental health support, and resources they need to grow, learn, and succeed.
Las Campanas Community Funds awards a record level $1,100,000 in community grants to area nonprofits
Las Campanas Community Funds (LCCF) at Santa Fe Community Foundation (SFCF) recently provided grants totaling $1,100,000 to 34 nonprofits in the Santa Fe community. This is a 25% increase over awards of $847,500 in 2024 and nearly 50% more than awarded in 2022.
Another great Empty Stocking Year
During the 2024-25 season, we were able to grant out $412,000 to 324 families in need — thanks to the generosity of so many donors throughout northern New Mexico. Today, we invite you to learn more about the how our Empty Stocking Fund served northern New Mexico families this past holiday season.
