This month, we're honored to welcome Miles Tokunow, Executive Director of the Santa Fe Dreamers Project. With a mission rooted in dignity, justice, and equity, Santa Fe Dreamers Project provides high quality, accessible legal services to immigrants and mixed status families. Their work goes far beyond legal paperwork. They partner with clients to pursue humanitarian protection, preserve family unity, build economic stability, and fight for freedom from detention.

We sit down with Andrew Rudnick, a seasoned philanthropic leader and fund advisor at the Santa Fe Community Foundation. Andrew’s journey into philanthropy is deeply rooted in personal experiences and shaped by extensive involvement in community foundations. "Community foundations use their staff and general operating funds to leverage what the donors believe in... They also bring generations of families together around philanthropy. The results are an exponential increase in philanthropic impact."

MathAmigos
Since 2017, MathAmigos has helped students struggling with math with their love for education and a belief in the power of innovative teams. It was founded after a conference at the Santa Fe Community Foundation by a retired Cal Tech mathematician from the IBM Watson Research Center with a love for Cuisenaire rods, a math and computer science teacher retiring after 21 years at Santa Fe Prep, and a retired physician and medical educator experienced in curriculum.
Dollars4Schools: Recent Support for Local Schools
The Santa Fe Community Foundation is committed to contributing to school betterment and student well-being in northern New Mexico. One integral way we enhance outcomes for young learners is through our Dollars4Schools program, which supports Santa Fe public school teachers and classrooms.
