Supporting community-led response efforts in Minneapolis
In response to the recent ICE surge in Minneapolis, our sister community foundation Minneapolis Foundation has announced a new round of grants through its OneMPLS Fund to support organizations meeting immediate community needs. These funds will help provide essentials such as food, housing support, and emergency assistance to families and individuals navigating sudden disruption and uncertainty.
La Clínica del Pueblo de Río Arriba
La Clínica del Pueblo de Río Arriba has been a trusted healthcare provider in northern New Mexico for more than 50 years, ensuring families in rural and remote communities can access quality, culturally responsive care close to home. Serving as a primary source of care for infants, toddlers, and caregivers in Rio Arriba County, the clinic recently launched La Clínica Baby Essentials — a new “baby bank” offering essential supplies, parenting education, and infant health screenings.

Operations Manager

The Operations Manager is responsible for independently executing administrative and operational support tasks for the Santa Fe office and supporting a positive community experience at the New Mexico Business Unit. These responsibilities include coordinating mail, answering phones and emails, and facilitating responses to questions about the office operations.

Education Assistant (Seasonal, Part-Time)

The Education Assistant position works with the guidance of SFWA’s Education Programs Manager, as well as the Director of Education, and SFWA staff to support the 5th grade My Water, My Watershed (MWMW) program. Priorities include facilitating and leading MWMW field trips, classroom visits, and other educational program support with potential to grow into a year-round position.
