As artificial intelligence (AI) continues to reshape industries, understanding its role in the workplace has become crucial for staying competitive and innovative. This training program is designed to help nonprofit employees at all levels understand the fundamentals of AI and explore how AI technologies can be applied to improve productivity, enhance decision-making, and drive organizational success.

Topics will include:

  • Understanding the fundamentals of artificial intelligence
  • Exploring AI applications in nonprofit workplaces
  • Using AI tools to improve efficiency and workflow
  • Addressing ethical considerations and responsible use
  • Supporting problem-solving and decision-making
  • Building an AI-ready nonprofit workforce

Cohort details

This training is offered as a cohort experience in partnership with the Santa Fe Community College. Participants are expected to attend both sessions:

  • Tuesday, February 17, 2026 | 1:00–4:00 pm
  • Tuesday, February 24, 2026 | 1:00–4:00 pm

The cohort is limited to 20 participants, with one spot per organization. Registration will close when the cohort is full or on February 10, 2026, whichever comes first.

About the Learning Hub

This event is presented through the Santa Fe Community Foundation’s Learning Hub and is part of the On the Ground program.
