2025 Juneteenth Recap
Thank you to all who joined the Empower! Black Futures Community Fund at Santa Fe Community Foundation for Juneteenth commemorations in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. We were grateful for the opportunity to come together as a community in remembrance, solidarity, and joy in honor of Black freedom and culture. This year marked a special moment for the Empower! Fund as it announced its inaugural round of grants in support of Black life, arts, and culture in New Mexico.

$40,000 Grant Supports Economic Relief Working Group
In honor of their 40th anniversaries, Albuquerque Community Foundation and the Santa Fe Community Foundation are pleased to announce a joint grant of $40,000 to the New Mexico Economic Relief Working Group.
Kathryn "Kay" O'Keeffe
Earlier this year, we received notification that Kathryn “Kay” O’Keeffe had passed away at the age of 103, leaving behind many friends, a lifelong appreciation for cultural arts and education, and a generous bequest to the Foundation.
