Investing in Santa Fe’s Students Through Dollars4Schools
Back to school, back to opportunity
As backpacks are filled, classrooms come to life, and a new school year begins, we are reminded that every student deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed. At the Santa Fe Community Foundation, we believe strong schools help create strong communities. Through Dollars4Schools, we are proud to invest in the students, educators, and programs shaping Santa Fe’s future.
Dollars4Schools is more than a grant program; it's a community investment in our children, educators, and public and charter schools. By providing flexible, timely funding where it is needed most, the program supports innovative learning, empowers teachers, and gives students access to resources and experiences that help them thrive.
Supporting Students Across Santa Fe
During the 2025–2026 school year, Dollars4Schools awarded more than $25,000 to support students, classrooms, and educational initiatives throughout Santa Fe. These investments reached schools and organizations across our community, including Milagro Middle School, Ortiz Middle School, E.J. Martinez Elementary School, Partners in Education, Ramirez Thomas Elementary School, Mandela International Magnet School, Thrive Community School, Piñon Elementary School, Capital High School, Santa Fe Indian School, and Santa Fe Public Schools.
Every grant tells a story — a teacher bringing an innovative idea to life, a student discovering a new passion, or a classroom receiving materials that inspire creativity, confidence, and a love of learning. Together, these grants demonstrate what is possible when a community comes together to support its students and educators.
Building Momentum for a New School Year
That momentum is already carrying into the 2026–2027 school year. Before the first school bell rang, Dollars4Schools had awarded nearly $17,000 to support public and charter education across Santa Fe, helping educators begin the year with resources to meet students where they are and help them reach their full potential.
Education is one of the most powerful investments a community can make. When we support teachers, we strengthen classrooms. When we invest in students, we invest in Santa Fe’s future.
As another school year begins, the Santa Fe Community Foundation is honored to stand alongside the educators, students, and families who inspire us every day. Through Dollars4Schools, we are opening doors, expanding opportunities, and helping ensure that every student has the chance to learn, grow, and succeed.
