This session provides a comprehensive overview of the fundamentals of strategic planning. Participants will acquire practical tools for assessment, goal setting, and implementation planning. In addition to strategic planning, this session emphasizes the importance of strategic thinking and tactical actions.

This session is part of a transformative two-year program, designed for women of color leaders in northern New Mexico's nonprofit sector.

The conference will feature speakers on many aspects of historic preservation including relevance, sustainability, affordable housing, gentrification, cultural preservation, preservation law, funding resources, case studies and hands-on demonstrations. Tours of cultural properties in Las Vegas and surrounding areas will also be featured.

Part of the free educational event series A Community Approach to Homelessness and Housing. This session explores the policy, funding, and social barriers that block housing and service solutions — and lifts up successful, community-led efforts to remove them.
